Afterschool Nanny Housekeeper wanted in W11 – somewhat flexible role

The role would suit a flexible person with experience in childcare. As this is a part time role we are of course open to applications from students and candidates with another part time job. However, you must be available at the requested hours.

Hours: approximately 15 hours per week, but more hours during half term and holidays and its likely babysitting hours will be added. It is also possible to only do nanny duties and have less hours if desired.

Days: Preferably Mondays and Wednesdays, and alternating between Tuesday and Thursday, but role can be changed to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays only. It may be necessary to work on Fridays now and then but we aim to keep Friday free. School finish at 3.15pm so you would have to be available from this time at the latest.

Start date: Preferably around 19th of February but willing to wait for a later start for the right person.

The role

The main role includes picking up son from school and look after him until mum is home from work, play and have a great time with him, take him to the park, host playdates, take him to activities, pick up from playdates and a be kind warm and loving carer. Occasionally do homework with him. 

The role with light housekeeping duties further includes but is not excluded to the following tasks:

  • General housekeeping duties such as tidying up, do laundry, change bed linen
  • Cooking for family
  • Help with errands and other task that pops on a day to day basis
  • Occasional ironing/ other mothers help duties

What we are looking for

We are looking for a nurturing and caring individual with relevant experience of the role. It is of utmost importance that you are a responsible, delightful person who loves children and enjoy spending time with them. It is also of importance that you are structured, tidy and able to take initiative. Someone flexible with time an absolute plus as is ability to cook healthy meals.  It is ideal if you speak Danish but it is not a requirement. Finally, you must speak good English, have recent DBS certificate (fremvise ren straffeattest), and have or be willing to undertake First Aid training. Please No smokers. We pay a generous salary.
