The Student Accommodation
With support from a number of Danish foundations, the Danish YWCA in London has purchased ten student accommodation units, which are rented to Danish students in London on favourable terms.
In addition, K offers six student rooms within the house in Hampstead.
Queen Ingrid's Student Accommodation
The first flat on Lowfield Road was purchased in 2003.
The student accommodation was officially inaugurated in 2006 in the presence of the Danish YWCA in London’s Patron, HRH Princess Benedikte of Denmark. On that occasion, the accommodation was named in honour of HM Queen Ingrid, who served as Patron of K for almost 50 years.
Student Rooms at K
K offers Danish students the opportunity to enjoy affordable and secure accommodation during their studies in London. Located in the charming area of Hampstead, K is just 15 minutes from Central London by public transport and within walking distance of Hampstead Heath, Camden Market and Primrose Hill.
"The student flat in Belsize Grove has made a tremendous difference to my PhD studies. The flat is cosy and located just a stone’s throw from green spaces such as Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill. In addition, the team at YWCA London makes a real effort to include us in the community. Together, these things create a unique sense of home."
